mount.app
What's the difference between this and mount.app dockapp? They look very similar.
RE: mount.app
mount.app monitors static entries in /etc/fstab. wmVolman handels HAL (http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software_2fhal) messages about adding/removing devices such as USB drives, CD/DVD disks...
Error
I compiled and installed wmvolman
but when i try to run it, it exits with:
kalif@bluestar:~$ wmvolman
** (process:11832): WARNING **: hal.c/300: hal_initialize failed: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: Connection refused
Why this?
Thank you in advance for any hint
You need dbus-daemon (system bus) and hald to be running in order to use this dockapp. If dbus-daemon is running, check it's logs.
